Mmm... Channing Tatum plays Tyler in 'Step Up'
Hottie with THE bod, Channing Tatum (Coach Carter, She's the Man) plays rebel kid, Tyler and Jenna Dewan (Take The Lead, Tamara, The Grudge 2) takes on the beautiful ballerina role, Nora, who recruits Tyler as her partner for her senior dance showcase. Australia's own Rachel Griffiths makes an appearance in this film as the headmaster of Nora's elite dance school.
What makes 'Step Up' stand out from the other movies is in the process - they held auditions through their official site on MySpace.com for dancers to be featured in the movie. Contestants were to send in clips of their skills and the judging panel consisted of Ciara, Channing, Jenna and choreographer Anne Fletcher. 5 winners were selected to be included not only in the movie but also Ciara's new video clip.
Channing is a hottie but rumours are that he's gay, and while watching some of the videos on the MySpace official site, I kinda got that feeling too...
Movie hits theatres on August 11 in the US and on September 28 in Australia.
