Confessions of a Serial Dancer - by Trina

I pull the hood of my jacket over, half covering my sweaty face; I am exhausted. These are the confessions of a serial dancer.

I'm sorry I'm late.

August 13th 2007 13:57
I'm sorry I'm late.

I hate saying that, (but at least it doesn't have anything to do with menstruation).

Not because I don't like apologising, but because I don't like being late. And in this case, not so much late but more like neglecting this blog site (and my Hip Hop one). Busy days, changing jobs, holidaying in Melbourne, studying and trying to keep a balanced life.

Well, it's better late than never, as the cliche goes. So check my post about my boy winning the 2007 Australian Bboy Championships just recently and wish you were there.

Excited about Justin Timberlake's concert, I'm actually gonna buy tickets this time, I'm not into concerts but I have high expectations for this one, and I don't wanna bother try using what contacts I have to get hooked up.

The Urban Music Awards are on tomorrow night, I wonder how it'll go and how many celebrity bums I can grab (I already know who won each award so I'll need some surprises).

What else? Oh yeah I'm really surprised how popular Hip Hop dancing is these days in Sydney, moreso than ever. Promise I'll get my act together and bring out REAL Hip Hop dance classes out to everyone, so far we've almost conquered the University of New South Wales, have a few other classes here and there but it seems like I'd have to quit my new job if I wanna do this properly. For the people who ask if the teachers I provide are certified, well there are no qualifications for teaching Hip Hop dancing... for dancing yes, and even for safe teaching of 'breakdancing' yes, but REAL Hip Hop is from the streets and don't think some fake ass Jazz Hop comes close to the real thing.

Just letting you know.

Until my next entry... peace.
